Chinese.. Learn it Dudes!

hmm..watch a chinese varitey show base on learning chi language on channel u last night.. sunday i think..
it's a new show with quan yi feng as host.. with last night as the 1st episode starter..

the main plot of the show is allow the contestent to incorporate "tough" chinese words into their language.. so the show goes on with them walking the grds in sg. the areas they visit are use to inspire the dudes to use the "tough" words..

the point of the game is so gauge how well they use it..
but hey.. i think this is an insult to the contestent..cos they are really embarrasing themselves throught the process... i was totally laughing my head off at the simple dumb sentences tt they construct in chinese.. i could do better man..

it's onli 5 phrases per round.. i can easily complete the whole shit in like a couple of secs... i dun see any difficulties in them.... tt y i think this show sucks to the core... such simple chinese vocab will not enable the contestent to learn at all.. much less use it..

but, am i surprised? yes..
cos they contestents seems to freak out over thsoe words.. and it's freaking easy...
Lin Lin Zhong Zhong (many choices).. and they can screw the sentence up.
further more.. the host still has to amend the sentence for her....
shame on u!

so is this it.. is the chinese lang culture going onto a slum? just take a look at chinese B system tt is co-currently exsisting in schs...
it's crap..

wat we learn in sec sch.. our counterparts in china did tt in pri sch..
wat we learn in jc.. they did it in middle sch..
this is crap.. and we r still lowering our chi standards...

so..how on earth r sgs going to comunicate on par with chinese from china when pretty soon, the whole of sg r goging to degrade themselves to B GRADE CHINESE?
